Nothing beats making a mess in the kitchen with loved ones as you try and compete for the best-dressed pancake or who can do the biggest pancake flip. We are proud to stock a wide range of fresh produce from our own farm on the Leckford Estate, as well as working with local food suppliers to bring you ingredients that will make your pancakes stand out from the rest. Our next batch of Leckford flour was sown in the autumn and will produce a wheat crop later this year. You will be able to purchase the full range of Leckford flour from Longstock Park Farm Shop.
Here are some of our favourite pancake recipes:
If you have a sweet tooth and love everything chocolatey, then this is the recipe for you. With a hint of chilli, this will definitely spice up pancake day.
Fruity and sweet, these pancakes will leave you wanting more. With the warm butter poured over and the added blackberries on top, this makes for a perfect breakfast dish.
Not all pancakes have to be sweet, and this recognisable combination of ingredients, added to pancake, is a good take on a savoury dish that might even become a regular dinner time favourite!
For those suffering from food allergies, it can be hard to find a recipe that you and your family can all enjoy. These fluffy, soft, and irresistible pancakes will allow everyone to indulge on Shrove Tuesday.
If all those recipes seem a little advanced, no worries, not all of us are master chefs. Try this easy pancake recipe which will have you serving up platefuls in no time.
