Types of fishing
Day Rods
Book your fishing online and then turn up and enjoy fishing as a day rod on our river and lakes. Book up to two rods on a river beat, or up to six rods on the lakes.
SEASON RODS
Apply for a regular (season) rod on the river or lakes. Full and half regular rods are available for use throughout the season.
We currently have a waiting list for season rods. Please contact the fishing team to enquire about taking a season rod in the future.
CORPORATE FISHING DAYS
Book one of our Lakes for a team event or corporate fishing day. Our lakes can provide you with a place to entertain and spend time fishing or learning to fish with business associates and colleagues. Contact us for further details and rates.
SOCIAL EVENTS
Spending time by the lake isn’t just for those wanting to fish. Our lake locations offer a unique venue for get-togethers.
The location and set up of our lakes means that you can host a family event or celebration. Whether you want to fish or not the lake makes a perfect and private location for friends and family to celebrate together. Contact us to enquire. Day hire rates from x per day for use of fishing lodge and outside space. Fishing is extra and priced per number of rods fishing.
The Team
Keeping just over 11 miles of the river Test special is a team with decades of experience at Leckford, as well as a wealth of experience fishing the river Test and many other fisheries across the world!
Head Riverkeeper, Rob and his team welcome all rods and their guests to Leckford Fishery, and are always on hand to answer any questions or help where they can.
The team has all the skills needed, in spades, to manage the river’s ecosystem keeping it healthy and thriving for fish, wildlife and humans!
Most of the team are skilled tutors as well. Rob, Neil and Andy can all offer tutoring on the lakes and river. Contact us if you require individual or group sessions and to enquire about fishing sessions for the family during school holidays.
