Stockbridge Pottery
At Leckford Estate, we feel passionate about supporting local businesses and locally sourced food and produce. We are so pleased to be working with a new local company, Stockbridge Pottery, based in the Test Valley in Hampshire. Lauren Leigh, Creative Director and co-founder of Stockbridge Pottery, takes inspiration from her local surroundings in Hampshire, coupled with a love of Greek and Roman antiquities which she found as a student doing a Bachelor of Arts degree. Formerly a journalist and copywriter, Lauren and her Partner set up the business in their hometown of Stockbridge, just a couple of miles from The Waitrose & Partners Farm on the Leckford Estate.
Their products include a range of pitchers that are designed to reflect, in colour, some of the surrounding villages. This includes a ‘heritage green’ pitcher which is a nod to the Estate-owned properties in the villages of Longstock and Leckford. These properties still house Partners today, who work or have worked on the Estate.
