The Product
Our rapeseed oil is the winner of a 2025 Great Taste Award, confirming its superior quality. It is produced and bottled by our expert Partners right here on the Estate.
As it’s cold-pressed, it retains more flavour and essential nutrients, including beneficial Omega 3.
It offers great versatility, perfect for roasting, frying, baking or simply drizzling over bread (we suggest trying it with our Leckford Baguette!).

The Process
Soil health is at the heart of our cropping system, and our oil production exemplifies low-waste farming.
- Regenerative Growing: Our rapeseed crop is planted using a minimal tillage system, which causes very little soil disturbance. This improves soil health, retains more carbon and reduces the use of fossil fuels.
- Estate to Bottle: Once harvested, our rapeseed is transported directly to our oil unit, just a mile or two away. The oil is then pressed, filtered up to six times and bottled on-site, keeping our food miles as low as possible.
- Zero Waste: The pressing process creates a pellet full of nutrients we then feed to our beef cows, ensuring nothing is wasted. We grow and press over 350 tonnes of rapeseed every year.
Ethics & Sustainability
Our production process is designed to generate very little waste and promote sustainability, managed by our passionate team of farmers and producers.
