Leckford Beef

From 2022 our beef herd will increase as we transition from a dairy herd to a beef suckler herd.

The Estate has extensive semi-natural areas of water meadows and chalk grassland where our 500 beef cattle will graze, helping to enhance biodiversity naturally.

As sustainable farmers, we plant herbal leys that form a critical part of our regenerative crop rotation.  Our cattle will graze these areas too, helping to return fertility and improve soil health.
